Do You Have a Good Idea?

We live in a stimulating and boundless world, where developing ideas that challenge the status quo is greatly cherished as not only an empowerment tool, but a way in which one can ahead. As the online world has created a myriad of platforms to quickly conceptualize and promote ideas there is a tendency to forget that an idea most likely requires a process in order to become a reality.

Open to New IdeasI work with many clients, who are always thinking of new ways to extend their brand and businesses. Accordingly, they turn to me for feedback. In providing guidance, it’s important for me to balance genuine admiration and enthusiasm for their creativity with an objective focus that wants to optimize their activities. If you immediately challenge somebody’s ideas, it can be misinterpreted that you are criticizing their initiative. And you never want to stifle people from thinking about how they can be more successful.

Even if ideas are never developed beyond an initial conversation, I seek to instill in my clients a Idea Dividend. What I usually find is that there are needs and notions within an idea that stimulate other opportunities.
