A Harvard Economist, Gets it Wrong on Tom Brady

In a recent Boston Herald (March 25, 2011), a Harvard economist, in his updated economics textbook claims that Tom Brady might not be using his time in a productive manner. Strange that an economics professor defines the value of time as money and fails to understand basic laws of supply and demand. Here’s the piece, with my comments below.

Kenny Florian Fight Magazine CoverThe August 2010 issue of Fight Magazine features Kenny on the cover. An accompanying article, “The Finisher” details Kenny’s quiet manner and cerebral approach to Mixed Martial Arts, which conceals his place at one of the sport’s most deadliest competitors.

Locally, Boston.com did a video piece on Kenny entitled “Secrets of a UFC Fighter”. He will be doing a blog for the Boston Herald and is scheduled to film a segment for WCVB-TV, Channel 5 next week.

Kenny has been doing a heavy local, national and international media campaign as he prepares to fight Gray Maynard at UFC 118 on August 28th at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

Excluding Web Site Content from Search Engine Crawls

If you don’t want your content to appear in the search engines’ indexes, you can them from crawling your content by using the robots.txt protocol. That will give the robots instructions on which pages they are allowed to crawl and/or index.

However, even if the search engines don’t crawl or index the content of pages blocked by robots.txt, they might index the URLs by discovering references to the excluded URLs in other sources on the Web.

The most effective way to remove your site URLs from search engines’ indexes is to use the following tools:

Google URL removal tool
Yahoo! Site Explorer
Bing Content removal
