In order to maximize visitor traffic to your web site, it’s critical to be aware of the associated words (keywords) or phrases that are relevant to your site when somebody does a search on Google, Yahoo, Bing or other search engines. Although it does take a significant research effort the identified keywords are then able to be integrated into your web site, greatly increasing the probability that a visitor will find your site. This concept is the basis of search engine optimization. There are 3 key places to include your selected keywords:

1. Title Tags – There is heavy algorithmic weight given to them by search engines. Around 10 keywords is the maximum recommended length.

2. Headers - Are represented by h1 through h6

3. Body Copy
- Keywords are best utilized in the first few paragraphs.

Page Descriptions: Even if you site shows up in a favorable position in a search engine query, you can be competing with 15 other pages (between regular results and sponsored listings). Keywords in a description can increase the probability of a click.
