Hooksett, NH: May 20, 2020 – Space Entertainment Center, a family entertainment center in Hooksett, New Hampshire, announced today that it will be rebranding and transitioning into Block Party Social effective immediately.

One of the most prominent symbols of this rebranding initiative is new signage in front of the facility off of Route 3 that features a large, high-resolution LED message board from Watchfire Signs.

The inspiration for rebranding reflects the positive guest response to recent investments, including upgrades to the interior and exterior of the facility which have appealed to a wider audience, from families to millennials to baby boomers.

“Based on guest feedback, we have been encouraged to create an engaging and fluid space that can be enjoyed by the community in very personalized ways,” says Ron Weinberg, Director of Planning and Strategy. He adds that key tenets of the Block Party Social brand include “everybody is always invited” and “you don’t need a reason to celebrate.”

Notable significant investments leading to the introduction of the Block Party Social brand over the last year include the following:

Laser Tag Arena – A new multistory LED illuminated arena offers guests the most immersive and interactive laser tag environment ever created, with an ever-evolving number of scenarios to play in.

Ropes Course & Zipline Experience – Guests can traverse a variety of challenging elements in any direction they choose. For many, the cherry on top is reaching the Sky Rail® to zip around the outer edge of the attraction and zoom past friends and family cheering them on from below!

Climbing Walls – Everyone can experience a unique way of reaching new heights! With multiple different shapes, vibrant colors, and a variety of textures, no climbing challenge is alike.

Plus, Block Party Social will feature a large new redemption center where guests can use game winnings to select from a wide selection of gifts that include higher end offerings such as drones, virtual reality headsets, and bicycles.

In addition to these physical improvements, Block Party Social has hired Christopher Cate as its brand’s Executive Chef. He comes to Block Party Social from Tuckaway Tavern. Chef Cate has been busy developing new menus and dining concepts for walk-in guests. In addition, he will support the Block Party Social Events & Experiences team, led by Candace Maynard, in the development of special group events that are driven by unique food offerings.

Block Party Social guests can look forward to a wide range of facility enhancements that include a renovated multipurpose area, private function space, overall décor updates, and a new restaurant and sports bar concept. And, of course, more of the latest and most popular games will be added to Block Party Social’s 12,500-square-foot game room for guests to enjoy.

Weinberg believes that, with Block Party Social, the best is yet to come for the reinvigorated Hooksett space. “Residents in the region are starved for an upscale, affordable entertainment and socialization destination. Accordingly, that’s what our team is going to deliver – every day.”
